Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective date: 6 October 2026
Effective date: 6 October 2026
This policy applies to project payments made through QuickQuid, operated by QuickQuid Services Private Limited.
Because QuickQuid projects involve customised digital professional services, refund eligibility depends on the stage of the project, the applicable Project Pact, accepted work, approved Scope Changes and the payment-provider state.
1. Before work starts
If a funded project or milestone is cancelled before the Freelancer has started the funded work and no amount has become earned or otherwise non-refundable under the Project Pact, the Client may request cancellation and a refund of the eligible funded amount.
2. After work has started
If work has started, refunds are not automatically all-or-nothing.
The parties may agree to:
- refund the unearned or undelivered portion;
- partially accept completed work and refund the remaining portion;
- approve a revised deadline or reduced scope; or
- mutually cancel the remaining work.
QuickQuid may use project records to support a manual review where the parties disagree.
3. Accepted work
Amounts attributable to work that the Client has already accepted are generally not refundable merely because the Client later changes its mind, except where required by law, agreed by the parties, or justified by a material defect or other ground recognised in the applicable Project Pact.
4. Revision requests
A valid revision request should relate to the agreed scope or acceptance criteria. A request for new or additional work may require a Scope Change instead of a refund or free revision.
5. Freelancer cancellation or non-performance
If a Freelancer cannot continue, QuickQuid may support handover, project continuity or replacement. Refund treatment depends on the work already completed or accepted, remaining funded amount, Project Pact and provider state.
6. Client non-response
If a Client does not respond to a Delivery or required project action, QuickQuid may follow the review/notice process stated in the Project Pact. QuickQuid will not represent a Delivery as accepted solely because of silence unless the applicable Project Pact clearly provides for such treatment.
7. Disputed payments
If the parties dispute whether work meets the agreed requirements, QuickQuid may review relevant records such as:
- the effective Project Pact;
- acceptance criteria;
- Scope Changes;
- Delivery Packages;
- revision history;
- project messages and decisions; and
- payment status.
QuickQuid may facilitate a practical resolution but does not claim to be a court or independent arbitration tribunal.
8. Refund method
Approved refunds are normally initiated to the original payment method through Cashfree Payments or the payment provider used for the transaction, where supported.
If a payment has already been split or settled, refund processing may require corresponding settlement adjustments under the payment provider's rules.
9. Refund timeline
Once a refund is approved and technically available for processing, QuickQuid targets initiation of the refund within 5 business days.
After initiation, the time for the amount to appear in the Client's bank account, card, UPI account or other original payment source depends on Cashfree Payments, the relevant bank/payment network and the payment method.
10. Fees
During the Founding Beta, QuickQuid's platform fee is 0% unless another fee was expressly disclosed before the project was funded.
Payment-provider fees, taxes or other charges are refundable only where applicable law, the provider's rules or the transaction-specific terms require or permit a refund.
11. How to request cancellation or refund

- your QuickQuid account email;
