Terms of Service
Effective date: 6 October 2026
Effective date: 6 October 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of QuickQuid, operated by QuickQuid Services Private Limited (“QuickQuid”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By creating an account, accessing QuickQuid, posting or applying for a project, accepting a Project Pact, making or receiving a payment, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Founding Beta.
If you use QuickQuid for a company or other organisation, you represent that you are authorised to act for and bind that organisation where you accept a Project Pact or other binding terms on its behalf.
2. QuickQuid's role
QuickQuid is a marketplace and work-management platform for digital professional services. It helps Clients and independent Freelancers find each other, define and record project terms, manage execution, process supported payments, review delivery, complete handover and maintain evidence of work.
Unless QuickQuid expressly states otherwise for a specific service, QuickQuid is not the Freelancer performing the underlying project work and is not the Client purchasing that work.
Freelancers using QuickQuid are independent service providers, not employees of QuickQuid solely by reason of using the platform.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your account information current. You are responsible for safeguarding access to your account and for activity performed through it unless caused by a security failure attributable to QuickQuid.
You must promptly notify us at contact@quickquid.in if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Projects and Project Pacts
Before funded work begins, the Client and Freelancer should approve the applicable Project Pact. A Project Pact may include:
- project outcome and scope;
- excluded work;
- deliverables;
- acceptance criteria;
- milestones;
- price and payment structure;
- timeline;
- Client and Freelancer responsibilities;
- required inputs or access;
- revision and defect-correction rules;
- change-control process;
- delivery and handover requirements; and
- cancellation or dispute terms.
Once an Agreement or Project Pact version is approved, QuickQuid may preserve that approved version as an immutable record. Later changes may require a new approved version.
5. Scope Changes
A material request that changes the agreed scope, deliverables, price, deadline or milestones should be recorded as a Scope Change.
A proposed Scope Change does not change the existing Project Pact until the required parties approve it.
6. Payments
Payments are processed through the payment provider displayed during checkout, currently intended to include Cashfree Payments.
Where enabled and approved for QuickQuid, Cashfree Easy Split may be used to manage payment splits, Freelancer/vendor settlements, refund adjustments and reconciliation.
QuickQuid does not independently operate a bank escrow service. Payment holding and settlement depend on the payment provider's approved configuration and applicable rules.
During the Founding Beta, QuickQuid's platform fee is 0% unless a different fee is clearly disclosed and accepted before funding.
Applicable taxes and payment-provider charges, where payable by a user, will be shown or disclosed as required before the relevant transaction.
7. Delivery and acceptance
Freelancers should submit work against the deliverables and acceptance criteria in the effective Project Pact.
Depending on the Project Pact, the Client may:
- accept the Delivery;
- request a revision tied to an agreed requirement or acceptance criterion;
- partially accept the Delivery where permitted; or
- raise a dispute.
A Delivery submission may be preserved as an immutable snapshot for that review cycle.
8. Revisions, defects and additional scope
A revision request should relate to the agreed scope or acceptance criteria. Work outside the agreed scope may require a Scope Change and may involve additional price or time.
The applicable Project Pact controls project-specific revision limits, defect-correction obligations and additional-scope treatment.
9. Handover
Where required by the Project Pact, project completion may depend on a proper handover. Handover may include accepted files, repository or source access, setup instructions, architecture/context notes, dependencies, known issues, outstanding work, resource or credential-transfer steps and other agreed materials.
10. Cancellation and refunds
Cancellations and refunds are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy, the applicable Project Pact, project status and payment-provider limitations.
11. Intellectual property
Ownership and licence rights in project work are primarily governed by the Project Pact.
Unless otherwise agreed, each party retains ownership of material, tools, code, trademarks, content and other intellectual property that it owned before the project or developed independently of it.
Users must not upload, sell, deliver or publish material they do not have the right to use.
QuickQuid may receive a limited licence to host, process and display user content only as necessary to operate the platform and provide requested features.
Public portfolio use of Client work, logos, screenshots or confidential materials requires the permissions applicable to that content.
12. AI-assisted features
QuickQuid may provide AI-assisted features such as Brief structuring, EOI drafting, project Q&A, possible Scope Change detection and Delivery checks.
AI output can be incomplete or incorrect and should not be treated as the authoritative source for commercial, legal, payment or project-state decisions. High-impact actions such as Agreement approval, Scope Change approval, payment actions, Delivery acceptance, dispute outcomes and protected-access grants require explicit human action.
13. Acceptable use
You must not use QuickQuid to:
- commit fraud or impersonate another person;
- violate applicable law;
- infringe intellectual-property rights;
- distribute malware or malicious code;
- attempt unauthorised access to another user's project, files, account or payment information;
- manipulate reviews, evidence or marketplace activity;
- send spam or abusive content; or
- use QuickQuid for prohibited products, services or activities communicated by us or our payment providers.
14. Suspension and termination
QuickQuid may restrict, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, security risk, legal obligations, payment abuse, serious policy violations or threats to other users.
Where practical and lawful, we will preserve access to records required to complete an active project, handover, payment reconciliation or dispute review.
You may request account closure through contact@quickquid.in subject to legal, accounting, payment, fraud-prevention and project-record retention obligations.
15. Platform availability
We work to keep QuickQuid available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, third-party failures, payment-provider outages, security incidents or technical faults may affect service.
Where a payment or other high-risk action has an uncertain state, users should not retry until QuickQuid or the payment provider confirms the outcome.
16. Disputes
QuickQuid may provide a manual support process for project disputes. We may review the Project Pact, Scope Changes, Delivery records, messages, payment state and other relevant evidence.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, QuickQuid's support process is not a court, arbitration tribunal or statutory adjudication body.
17. Limitation and applicable law
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by applicable law, QuickQuid is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from the independent performance of a Client or Freelancer.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute not resolved through the applicable project/support process is subject to the jurisdiction of a competent court as permitted by applicable law.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes may be communicated through the platform, email or another reasonable method. Where re-acceptance is legally or operationally required, we may ask users to accept the updated version before continuing to use affected features.
